When I visited my old friend Bodo Suss at Moon Music to pick up some guitars for video reviews, Bodo gave me this Fret King to review next two other guitars. I felt in love immediately. Loaded with a stacked P90 this blue, sparkling axe sounds killer and plays great.
Max Saidi recorded 11 tracks within 5 days. He never heard the songs before. That means he had 5 days to learn and record the songs. I am really thankful and appreciate his great drumming that brought (again) our songs to another level. It’s not a big secret that I am using drum samples on our albums. For me it’s just easier to have the opportunity to change snares, whole kits etc. than to have just one drum sound. This time I used the Bob Rock Drums for “Vertigo”. What a thunderous sound.
Max is recording in London while I am waiting for his tracks in Switzerland. He has all artistic freedom and I just give him some inputs. It’s already the fourth production we are doing together and it won’t be the last. He’s an extraordinary musician and I’m happy to work with him. It feels like he’s a real band member even though we never met. Thanks Max for make it happen once more.
Actually not really new. I am happy to announce that Max Saidi who played on all Kissing Lucifer releases ist back on board. Franziska Bub left the band due personal reasons. I wish her best of luck for the future.Meanwhile Max Saidi is already recording in London. I am really happy with the progress we made in the last two days. I assume that the drums will be finished within the next couple of days and the mixing session will begin. I still have to record some stuff. 9 out of the 11 tracks are finished. I love the vibe of the new album and guess what? It’ll be our best album so far. And I mean it dead serious. We really raised the game and I am proud of what we achieved. Can’t wait to release “Vertigo”. Thanks for all your support and love!
